Summer in the UK is jam-packed with festivals, and we wouldn't have it any other way! From the legendary to the local, there's something for everyone. Let's take a look at the must-attend events and the fun (and mud) they bring!

Big Names, Big Fun, Big Mud:

Glastonbury, Boardmasters, Reading, and Download—these are the festivals that need no introduction, everyone has heard of them, and the majority of us tried to get tickets but they sold out in a matter of minutes.

Did you see the amount of mud at Download this year? It's all part of the charm! Unfortunately, that's the kind of weather we get here in the UK. Unless we get another 2020 weather summer, we're stuck with the mud. But hey, we make the most of it!

Glastonbury Fashion: Chic and Practical

Glastonbury is a mud lover's paradise. Whether you're dancing in the rain or wading through fields, it's an unforgettable experience. This outfit is perfect for Glasto, allowing you to dress cute while staying practical.

Wellies are the staple of this look. Hunter boots from Schuh are not just for the festival; they’re versatile enough for dog walks and other activities post-festival season.

A floaty denim dress from River Island is a perfect choice for several reasons. Its light, airy fabric ensures you stay cool and comfortable all day long, while the denim adds a touch of classic style that's effortlessly chic. Pair it with a straw bag and hat to keep the outfit consistent and festival ready. Together, this combo creates a stylish look, perfect for enjoying performances by Coldplay, Shania Twain, and many more. Get ready to transport yourself to another level!

Boardmasters Fashion: Surf-Tastic Style

Boardmasters offers a mix of music and surf, bringing beach vibes to the festival scene. Just be ready for a sandy (and possibly muddy) adventure. Need a surf-tastic look for Boardmasters? Look no further than this super trendy and cute outfit.

Surfers have a stereotype for being calm and chill, and that’s what we aimed for with this look. The crochet cami top from New Look embodies a calm, boho vibe—perfect for Boardmasters. As the staple of the outfit, pair it with cool tones of blue. Mom denim shorts keep you comfortable all day long at the festival.

To complete the look, add a cap from Superdry and navy and white Nike Dunks, which complement each other nicely. Don’t worry about the mud—you can easily wipe your shoes clean. If you know it's going to be particularly muddy, swap the Nike Dunks for wellies to stay dry and stylish.

Reading Festival Fashion: Rock Your Style

Reading Festival is all about embracing edgy, rock-inspired fashion while staying comfortable for a full day of music. If you're heading to Reading Festival, Damaged Society is the place to go. These patterned denim shorts paired with a cute mesh top featuring zodiac print detailing create an unexpectedly perfect combo.

Are you as obsessed with these cosmic fire metal platform boots as I am? Not only are they stunning, but they're also sturdy enough to navigate the grounds, whether dealing with mud or uneven surfaces. Accessories like this statement Vans backpack complete the look, ensuring you're ready to rock out in style. Whether you're in the mosh pit or lounging by the stages, Reading Festival fashion is all about combining practicality with a cool, effortless vibe.
