Augmented Reality Mural Unveiled

Queensgate Shopping Centre is proud to announce the unveiling of an extraordinary augmented reality mural that celebrates the iconic places in Peterborough.

Created by artist Jason Duckmanton of Paper Rhino, a renowned workers’ co-operative specialising in art, illustration, typography, design, and animation, this innovative artwork promises to captivate and engage visitors with its unique blend of traditional and digital artistry.

Located on North Mall, opposite Michael John visitors simply scan the QR code, download the free app and point their phone at each end of the 30ft long mural. The ‘bookend’ Qs’ come to life with digital animations that move in front of your eyes and depicts everything great about Peterborough.

Landmarks such as the City Cathedral, Nene Valley Railway and The Lido are captured in this unique and modern way that celebrates the City.
