About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the team as a City Centre Ambassador for Peterborough Positive, Peterborough’s Business Improvement District (BID). This predominantly street-based role is designed to support businesses and visitors within the city centre while championing Peterborough’s positive developments.

The City Centre Ambassador will play a key role in representing the BID and acting as the "eyes and ears" of the city centre, maintaining strong relationships with levy-paying businesses and sharing information regarding the delivery of the BID’s placemaking business plan.

You’ll be working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Marketing Manager, and other stakeholders to keep businesses informed and ensure that your presence is always professional and positively reflects on Peterborough. You will also have the opportunity to engage with local events, occasionally working weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the key contact for businesses within the city centre.
• Champion and promote the positive growth of Peterborough.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with levy-paying businesses.
• Communicate progress on the delivery of the BID's placemaking business plan.
• Represent Peterborough with professionalism and enthusiasm.
