Charities

At Queensgate, we’re proud to use our platform to uplift local charities, social enterprises, and community organisations that are creating real impact in Peterborough and beyond. Through fundraising, in-centre support, space provision, and awareness campaigns, we champion causes that align with our ESG values—focusing on inclusion, education, wellbeing, and social responsibility.

In 2024/25 we have supported 15 charities and 30 community groups, the team donated over 400 volunteering hours and we fundraised and invested over £25,000 to support local charities and community services.

The Salvation Army (Christmas Appeal)
Every Christmas, we partner with The Salvation Army to collect gifts and donations for families in need. With the help of our shoppers, we ensure vulnerable members of the community are supported during the festive season. In 2024 we raised an incredible raise an incredible £4,214.80 for The Salvation Army Peterborough.

Alongside the generous financial contributions, the centre’s Donation Box Appeal collected approximately 2,000 gifts, which were distributed to around 400 children in need.

Each year our team use their volunteering days to support the charity with various activities from being a sailing buddy, launching and recovering boats from the water or working as part of the office crew.
