We’re Open and Ready to Welcome You
Exciting improvements are coming to Peterborough city centre as part of the Station Quarter regeneration project. From 6 July, construction begins on the new City Link — a modern, surface-level route that will better connect the railway station to the city centre and enhance the overall visitor experience.
During this period, you may notice some temporary changes to traffic routes and access around Queensgate while these works take place.
✅ Business as Usual at Queensgate
Despite these changes, Queensgate Shopping Centre is open and welcoming you as usual.
All your favourite shops, restaurants and leisure experiences are here, and our car parks remain fully operational, making it easy for you to visit and enjoy your day with us.
🎯 Extended Late Night Shopping
To give you even more flexibility during your visits, we’re extending our late night shopping hours throughout the trial period of 6th July until 6th October.
Join us on Thursdays and Fridays, when the centre will stay open until 8pm, giving you extra time to shop, dine and unwind.

🌙 Staying Later? Park in Red
If you're planning on staying past 6pm — whether for a Cathedral or Museum event, or leisure activities — don’t forget to park in the Red Car Park.
Red Car Park is the designated option for evening visits with longer opening hours and offers convenient access to leisure and late‑night activity.
