Lovisa Sparkles at Queensgate with New Store Opening on 10 July

Global fashion jewellery brand Lovisa has brought its signature sparkle to Peterborough with the opening of its new store at Queensgate Shopping Centre on Thursday 10 July.

Known for its trend-driven and affordable jewellery, Lovisa offers a wide range of statement earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, body jewellery, and hair accessories. Whether shoppers are after bold seasonal pieces or timeless classics, the brand has become a go-to destination for style-conscious individuals looking to elevate their look without the luxury price tag.

Queensgate Shopping Centre Welcomes New Community Boxing Hub in Peterborough

On the Wednesday 11 June 2025, SPARX, a new charity shop in Queensgate Shopping Centre (located in the former Argos Unit on the upper mall), have joined forces with the Amir Khan Academy under the umbrella of Top Yard School of Boxing, is thrilled to announce the opening of a new boxing facility

Top Yard School of Boxing, an England Boxing-affiliated amateur club, has been a pillar of the community for over nine years. Founded with a mission to inspire fitness, build confidence, and offer young people a positive outlet. With 5 National Champions and over 20 Box Cup champions, the club has earned a reputation for excellence both in and out of the ring.

This new venture in collaboration with SPARX charity enables the club to expand its reach, delivering more sessions and high-quality coaching to a broader audience. The facility will cater to everyone, from competitive boxers and fitness enthusiasts to those interested in self-defence, female-only classes, and even over-50s programs.

“We’re not just building fighters, we’re building confidence, discipline, and stronger communities,” said a spokesperson from Top Yard School of Boxing. “Boxing teaches discipline, self-defence, gives you purpose in life and keeps you off the streets.”

TACO BELL OPENS DOORS IN PETERBOROUGH, STRENGTHENING UK EXPANSION

Taco Bell Ignites UK Expansion with Sixth UK Equity-Owned Restaurant in Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH 28^th December 2024 – Taco Bell, the globally recognised Mexican-inspired quick service restaurant, has opened the doors of its sixth UK equity-owned restaurant in Peterborough, UK. The new shopping centre restaurant is located at Unit 59 Queensgate Shopping Centre Long Causeway Peterborough, PE1 1NH and will be open daily from 11am – 1pm.

The new location, which is the first Taco Bell in the region, will serve up fan-favorites like the Crunchwrap Supreme, Crunchy Taco Supreme, and Volcano Burrito alongside vegetarian options, all with the fast, friendly service Taco Bell fans have come to know and love.

The United Kingdom continues to be a high-priority region for Taco Bell, with over 130 Taco Bell locations already established across the country.

Beaverbrooks invests £1.5m in relocation and major refurbishment of Peterborough store, increasing in size fivefold

Family-owned national diamond, jewellery and watch retailer, Beaverbrooks, has made a significant investment in the relocation and refurbishment of its Peterborough store, increasing floorspace fivefold and introducing a new TAG Heuer boutique – the only one of its kind in the area.

Building on its 23-year presence in the city, Beaverbrooks has invested £1.5m in the newly refitted store, which unveiled its transformation on Friday 4 October after relocating to a larger and more central location within the Queensgate Shopping Centre.

Set across 4,324 sq. ft. of retail space – upscaled from 820 sq. ft. – the location features a wider selection of luxury and designer watch brands and dedicated areas for RADO, Tissot and Beaverbrooks Diamonds and Weddings, making the store a destination for diamonds and watches in the area.

As part of its Beaverbrooks Diamonds and Weddings offering, shoppers will have access to a private consultation area where a team of experts will assist with special engagement and wedding ring purchases. With its rich heritage offering 105 years of diamond expertise, the retailer will showcase a wide selection of hand-selected Beaverbrooks diamonds, in addition to collections from Maple Leaf Diamonds.

The refurbishment and expansion of the retail location will create a total of four new jobs. Boasting 89 stores, including three Loupe boutiques and 23 dedicated luxury mono-brand watch boutiques across the UK, the national jeweller has continued to expand its luxury offering over recent months.
